Final Destination 2

A classic horror movie continuation from Final Destination. It makes me wonder about our destiny. Is it fixed? Or is it just a boundary for us to explore? Oh no, it might be something else. It might be our limitation.

I really thought about this topic is when I study personality, where existantial theory comes to my mind. Destiny is a pattern of life that is design for us to use it. How we use it, where we use it and when we use it does not affect the final result. Death will always come, but the condition of our spirit before we die will not be fixed.

Pick your own path of destiny.

十分爱

十分爱 is about secrets and truth. According to the director 叶念琛, it is based on a real life story that happens around him. It was so close to our life that sometimes I think that it is just around me.

oh well, check out the website and you will know why I said so.

Hello, Goodbye Little Brother (Annyeong, hyeonga)

A movie that is based on a real story. Hani, HanByul(Hani's older brother) and Wook met in the hospital. Hani is a devilish and selfish brat in everyone's eye while his brother is totally opposite of him. Wook, in the other hand, is a cheerful kid who faces his sickness with laughter.

The story talks about the transition of Hani becoming a caring and helpful boy during HanByul's brain tumour treatment. A touching movie with some dramatic plot in it.

I like what the movie brings out. Kids learn it through some way and same as the adult. Both of them express their feelings using different ways. This movie shows the feeling of both families' parents. The way they treated their son and how they face the difficulty. Hani's family faced it with anger and frustration while Wook's family faced it with cheer, laughter and bravery.

At the end of the movie where HanByul is struggling to be alive, it seems that Wook gave his life to HanByul. At the same time, Hani was trying to pass the magical water to his brother. This scene really makes me cry. One child is born but another is sacrifice, it sound cruel but sometimes, life works in this way.

Life is transform through death. There's some meaning in Existantial theory.

Picnic

Picnic or PiCNiC is a movie that is about 3 psychotic patient finding a place to picnic so that they can have the best place to prepare for end of world. The whole movie focus on a different perspective of the world from 3 person. People that have not go through the guilt that they had in their heart. By holding to this guilt, they move on with their life.

One day, they break the rules of not passing the boundaries of the hospital. Hence they found a new world that they never explore before. This lead them to a church, a church that is singing. They was given a bible that lead them to an conclusion of the end of the world.

This start their journey to find the best spot.

The best part of this movie is at the scene where they met the pastor of the church. They talk about the God from a different perspective. The girl thinks that the world is her and God is her parents. On the other hand, the guy think that there's no God because God never reply his prayers.

Another scene is the scene where they all walk on the wall. Is like, looking at the world from a higher ground. They see everything above everyone.

The moment he fall on the ground, is the moment he lost his world. For him, the wall and the hospital is his world. Out of that, he is dead.

The most beautiful scene in the world movie is when dark raven shoot herself and the feathers is all over the place. She died in in her own world.

Secret, 不能說的秘密.

A love story that is done creatively by Jay Chou. He is talented and this is the end product of his creativity and talented mind.

Time travel is always the interesting topic for lovers, it is separate not only by distance, but by time too. He presented the story in the way that I really really love it. Kudos to him in the movie, it does make me cry.

There's no "Shorcut to Happiness"

Shortcut to Happiness is a movie that really draws my attention to the ways that people used to gain happiness. As written in the bible, only the heart tells the truth. The spirit that guides us in our journey of life.

It seems to me that, being success in some ways won't really hurt others. While, being success in the wrong way, might kill someone you're close to.

I do hope that whatever I do, it builds and won't destroy. Happiness comes not by work, but by faith and love.

Swing Girls.

"There is 2 type of people, one who swing and one who don't."

Taken from CR CrunchyRoll

Description:

Swing Girls is a feel-good comedy following Yaguchi’s familiar formula of novices starting a new and slightly unusual activity, suffering various problems and set-backs on the way, but finally triumphing in the final reel.

The films starts with a group of girls having to spend their summer vacation in catch-up mathematics lessons with a boring teacher. One day they are given the chance to escape the lessons by delivering lunch boxes to members of the school's brass band club. When the band members become ill, the girls realise that they can permanently skip mathematics lessons if they take the place of the sick band members.

The film then follows the various problems and situations they encounter, from exercise regimes, learning to play their instruments, raising money, finding a teacher and entering a local music competition. What started as an excuse to miss lessons becomes a passion, and they finally win glory in the concert hall.

My comment:
A nice movie about the musical journey of untalented high school girls. Facing obstacles and challenges during the whole journey to perform. Nice and funny to watch especially the boar part. Unexpected events that change the whole band. Overall is a nice movie to laugh at. Might be a bit boring at some of the time. But I get the hang of it.

The Island.

The Island is similar with the 5C ( Car,Cash...) that we always hope for in our life.
Our life is a routine that Lincoln 6 Echo and Jordan Two Delta did everyday in their life.

We never ask ourself the reason and cause behind all of our action and motives and goals. We just follow whatever the world give us and stick with it.
The world want us to be rich and famous, and we follow it.
The world had our mind set at the bodies and beauties of the girls, and we stick to it.
The world want us to depart from our nature environment, and we follow it.
The world has it own philosophy that she want us to follow exactly like it, and we just do it.

The laboratory looks nice inside but ugly outside. People using people to achieve things that the world wanted to. It seems to me that it is a mirror of our own world. The real world and the world itself.

Everything, we hope something could be changed but we never move our butt.
Every moment seems to be that boring but we never think of changing it.
Things seems to be stagnate all day long but none of us make a progress.

Moving in our own space, thinking in our own world and this seems to be able to satisfy us. Anyway, life ain't just that from what I see.

One Litre of Tears.

The latest j-series that I have watched. It have a very nice plot and ending which touched everyone that watch it. Being a brother of a cancer patient, I understand some of the scenes in the series which is quite similar with me. I really hope that everyone that have cancer will be able to survive mentally and physically. Some of the patient, even though survive the cancer that are threatening their life, can't survive the mental illness that they faced during the healing. I wish that I can help them.
